The day i arrived Australia, I cant help but to notice this pan cake size roundabout roads they have. This distinguish them from the roads in U.S. In States, roads are in a block vertical and horizontal oriental. You will never get lost if u have a map with you. However, here in Australia, every round about looks the same( the only diff is the amount of weeds that grows out of it... more or less). If you get lost.... just hit the next round about, cross ur finger and hope it brings u back to the original point.
Well although there isn't a clear landmark when u drive, it was a brilliant idea i never thought it could be use in the "traffic world". Well first, save electricity. No traffic lights means lesser electricity thus reduce our carbon blueprint. Secondly, everyone just knows when to go and who to go first . It interesting to know that this works!
Personally I hate this roundabout concept esp in spore. Well, look!! We are sporean drivers! who expects who to go first?! #think about it# I have a couple of this roundabout along the AYE at pioneer north rd and the other along jalan boroh. It always makes me dizzy!!
