Went to Hunter Valley today. Its a stretch of winery vineyards that produce premium wine. Wines here are tasty and indeed costly, but affordable. Well, learn a word from a friend I met today. Mocasto, a type of fruity wine that taste really good. Well, for amateur like me towards wine, I'm told that Mocasto are really popular among ladies and man usually like strong wines. Hmm ... not really a wine drinker... but really love the fuzzy, fruity taste. Bought one from Tower estate strongly recommended .Australian vineyard had doubled their land usage from 146,000 to 356,000 acres (1,440 km²).
Learn that in order for a vineyard to be premium, u need at least 20 yrs for the vine to grow really deep. And the type of soil composition use in vineyard is really vital. The soil supports the root structure of the vine and very much affects the drainage levels and amounts of minerals and nutrients that the vine is exposed to. The perfect situation would be that a vine has an area of thin topsoil (the uppermost layer of soil, usually the top 2 to 6 inches) and subsoil (clayer of soil the topsoil the surface of the ground) that sufficiently retains water but also has good drainage so the vine roots don't become too saturated.
In general, the type of soil used would affect the roots of the vine and thus affect the grapes. So the minerals that puts into it is important too. Hmm... drink wine also got so much knowledge behind it huh...
Behind me its vineyards that grows the grape. And the barrow stores wine.
